Water Search-Merrimack River, Manchester NH. 05/11/2015.

On Monday Evening around 17:30hrs, Manchester NH Fire Dept responded to the Merrimack River at the Queen City Bridge for a reported jumper. After the arrival of companies, the District Chief reported a person was swimming and disappeared, which was last seen under the Queen City Ave Bridge.
Manchester Fire Dept. launched (3) boats and Bedford Fire Dept also launched (2) boats.
Companies searched the river for hours with the assistance of a Dhart helicopter.
At dark fall, the District Chief decided to suspend the search.
