W/F Lowell Ma. 871 Middlesex Street 11/15/2015

On early Sunday Morning around 01:04hrs. the Lowell Ma. Fire Dept struck a box for a reported bedroom fire at 871 Middlesex Street. First due Engine-2 reported nothing showing on arrival and then updated a heavy smoke condition and fire in a basement apartment. Firefighters stretched (2) hand lines and quickly extinguished the bed room fire. The on duty Deputy Chief reported fire was in a large 2.5 story wood-frame apartment building and requested for the FIU to the scene.
