NH 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Manchester NH. 09/13/2015
On Sunday Morning, September 13, 2015, The NH 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb was at 1000 Elm Street in downtown Manchester NH.
The Fire Instructors and Officers Association Of New Hampshire (FIOANH) proudly hosts the event, which benefits the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
This was the 5th year for the stair climb at the Brady Sullivan owned building.
Climbers climbed a total of 110 stories, equaling what FDNY Firefighters did during 9/11. Teams would climb floors 1 to 20, 5 times, then they would do additional 10 stories.
At the end, team group photographs were taken.
343 FDNY Firefighters were killed that day, today, every climber wore a lanyard bearing a photo, name, rank and company information during the climb honoring all that were killed.
