4th Alarm Plus Boston Ma. Box 232 877 Beacon Street 11/02/2014.
On Sunday Morning, at 01:25hrs. the Boston Ma. Fire Dept struck Box 232 for a possible building fire on Park Drive. Engine-37 and Ladder-26 were first due, they were investigating the Park Drive side when other arriving companies reported the building fire at 877 Beacon Street, on the arrival of the District Chief, he reported heavy fire showing from the 1st floor rear. The fire was in a 4 story brick office building with OMD as exposures on both sides. Companies had heavy fire on all floors and thru the roof.
An exterior attack with numerous ladder pipes and hand lines operated.
The fire went to 4 alarms and several engines and ladders were special called.
During the fire, Boston was having strong winds due to a nor'easter.
