W/F Weymouth Ma. Box 4010 18 Governor Winthrop Lane 01/31/2021

On Sunday Morning just after 06:30am, Weymouth Ma. Fire Dept struck Box 4010 for 18 Governor Winthrop Lane for a reported a garage fire. Engine-5 was first due and reported fire showing. Upon C-2's arrival, he requested the W/F assignment bringing mutual aid into the town for station coverage. Fire was in a 1.5 story wood frame 2 car garage that was attached to a large 1.5 story wood frame. Firefighters stretched and operated (2) handlines and quickly knocked down the fire and kept it from extending into the main house. At the time of the fire, it was very windy and cold, temperature of 10 degrees.
