2nd Alarm Kingston Ma. 6 Wright Court 01/23/2021

On Saturday Night around 21:20hrs. the Kingston Ma. Fire Dept responded to 6 Wright Court for a reported house fire. First due company reported heavy fire showing from a house that was well involved. A quick 2nd Alarm was requested, bringing Mutual Aid companies from Duxbury, Pembroke, Plympton & Halifax. The fire was in a 1.5 story wood frame with several porches/additions and a (1) car garage attached. Firefighters went to an exterior attack on arrival due to the heavy fire conditions. Multiple 2.5 inches lines were stretched. It took several hours to bring the fire under control due to extreme cold and wind conditions. At the time of the fire, it was 19 degrees out with a wind chill down to 4 degrees, which made ice quickly and covered the entire fire ground. Kingston DPW was requested and showed up with a dump truck full of sand and sanded the entire fire ground for firefighters. DFS Rehab-6 was also requested for rehab at the fire scene.
