3rd Alarm Somerville Ma. Box 236 2 Quincy Street 05/20/2020

On Wednesday Night just after 22:00hrs. Somerville Ma Fire Dept struck Box 236 for reported smoke in a house at 2 Quincy Street. Companies reported a fire on the 2nd floor. The OIC struck the 2nd alarm and companies had a minor exposure problem on the "D" side, which was a large 3 story brick and wood OMD. Companies found fire in the walls of the 3rd floor and attic area. The OIC struck the 3rd alarm. Due to power lines, ground ladders had to be thrown for the roof to be opened up. Firefighters stretched multiple lines and contained the fire. Mutual Aid to the scene and for city coverage.
