Water Incident Manchester NH. Merrimack River 03/26/2016
On Saturday night around 23:37hrs, the Manchester NH Fire Dept was dispatched to the Queen City Bridge for a reported possible jumper up.
Upon the arrival of Car-1 (District Chief), he reported that the police had some one on the bridge threatening to jump.
Engine-11/Rescue-1 with Boats 1 and 2 proceeded to the boat ramp on the Merrimack River which is just north of the Queen City Ave Bridge.
With the man on the bridge speaking to police officers, Car-1 requested that Boats 1 and 2 be launched. Shortly after both boats were launched, the police officers were able to talk the man off the bridge to the east side of it and bringing the incident under control.
