W/F Manchester NH. 34 South Kilby Street 08/26/2016
On Friday morning around 06:54hrs. the Manchester NH Fire Dept responded to 34 South Kilby Street for reported smoke coming from a house. FAO advised Car-1 en route, the neighbor was calling reporting smoke coming from the house and could possibly be a vacant house.
First due Truck-7 reported a working fire on arrival. Firefighters found a fire in the kitchen area and reported some extension into the attic area. Firefighters stretched (2) hand lines and quickly knocked down the fire while Truck-7 and Truck-1 opened the roof up and overhauled the attic area.
Fire is under investigation by Manchester NH Fire Prevention.
