W/F Manchester NH. 317 Amherst Street 11/17/2016
On Thursday Afternoon around 13:15hrs. the Manchester NH. Fire Dept. responded to 317 Amherst Street for a reported fire in the building. Car-1, District Chief Poulin reported smoke showing on arrival.
Fire was on the 1st floor of a large 3 story brick OMD structure. First due companies quickly stretched hand lines and knocked down the fire in one apartment on the first floor. Firefighters opened up and overhauled using foam and no extension was found.
Two occupants were transported by AMR ALS to the hospital and three animals died in the fire.
Fire is under investigation by MFD Fire Prevention.
