3rd Alarm Goffstown NH. 711 Mast Road 02/21/2016
On Sunday afternoon, at 13:38hrs. the Goffstown NH Fire Dept. responded to 711 Mast Road for a reported building fire. FAO notified companies that callers reporting smoke from a building.
Engine-6 was first due and reported heavy smoke showing. As Engine-6 gave his report, the Goffstown Fire Chief ordered a 2nd Alarm (while he was still en route).
Fire was in a large 1 story vacant 150x60 commercial structure.
Companies quickly went into defensive exterior attack due to heavy fire conditions. Upon the arrival of Manchester NH District Chief, he ordered his companies to set up in the parking lot of the exposure building.
the fire went to 3 alarms and mutual aid from the surrounding area responded.
