On Friday night, The Salvation Army announced that they were going to be short toys for 40 families, totaling 213 kids. This is where the firefighters stepped in. They started a christmas toy drive to assist in the time of need. This was being done in several cities and towns in New Hampshire with Manchester NH Fire Hq's as the donating center location. This was started on Friday evening and continued on Saturday morning til Noon. During the day on Saturday, several different fire dept's brought what was donated to them to Manchester's Hq's. At Noon, the 40 families were given access to the toys with assistance from firefighters and Salvation Army.
All 40 families were able to receive toys for all 213 children.
