Manchester NH FireFighter Rally @ City Hall 06/28/2011
On Tuesday June 28, 2011, the Manchester NH Firefighters Union held a rally at City Hall on Elm St side to inform the public about the possible 14 firefighter lay off coming on July 1, 2011. The rally was held before the final budget meeting between the Alderman and the Mayor.
It is sad to report, for the first time, the Manchester NH Fire Dept will be laying off 14 firefighters on July 1, 2011 and closing 1 Engine Company and 2 Truck Companies.
