W/F+ Manchester NH. 516 Upland Street 05/14/2011

On Saturday night around 20:50hrs. Manchester NH Fire Dept. responded to 516 Upland Street for a reported garage fire. Upon arrival of 1st due Car-1, he reported a 1 story, 2 bay garage 20x20 well involved with an exposure problem and requested for an extra engine company to the scene. Firefighters used a couple of hand lines and knocked down the heavy fire and protected the exposure. Companies then overhauled and knocked down what was left of the garage for fear that it would collapse if left standing. Engine's 11, 2, 6, Truck-1 and Car-1 on the box call, Engine-5 was extra pump that was requested.
