Fatal W/F Manchester NH 139 North Adams Street 02/08/11

On Tuesday Morning around 05:30hrs. Manchester NH. Fire Dept. responded to 139 North Adams Street for a reported kitchen fire in a house. Engine-5 reported a fire on floor 1 of a large 2.5 story wood-frame occupied structure. Firefighters stretched (2) attack lines while crews conducted searches in which 1 male victim was found and was removed but was doa. MFD requested (2) ALS units, 1 for the victim and also for another occupant (which was minor in nature). Firefighters made a quick knock down and overhauled. The fire came in during the end portion of a snow storm that brought a couple of inches to the area. Fire remains under investigation by Manchester FD/PD.
