W/F Manchester NH 625 Chestnut Street 06/14/2011

On Tuesday afternoon around 13:00hrs. Manchester NH Fire Dept. responded to 625 Chestnut Street for a reported fire on the 4th floor balcony of an apartment building. Engine-5 was first due and reported nothing showing at first and a few seconds later confirmed a fire on the 4th floor balcony of a 4 story brick 40x100 occupied apartment building. Firefighters quickly stretched lines and Truck-1 raised it's bucket and checked for extension on the wooden roof over the balcony. Firefighters found no extension into the building and all residents were evacuated for precaution.
