New Hampshire 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb-Manchester, NH. 09/11/2011

On Sunday September 11, 2011, The New Hampshire 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb was held at Brady-Sullivan Tower at 1000 Elm Street in Manchester NH. Firefighters and civilians from all over New Hampshire and several out of state Firefighters climbed a total of 110 flights of stairs in memory of the FDNY 343 who were killed at the World Trade Center 10 years ago.
Climbers had to go to the 20th floor five times, after that the 6th time, they went down to floor 8 and climbed to floor 19, where the climb completed 110 flights of stairs. On the 19th floor, group photos were taken moments after completing it. Some well deserved hand shakes and hugs happened.
The motto of the climb is..."We climb because they climbed". The money raised from this event goes to The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
I should also mention the civilians and also the Manchester NH Police Dept teams that also climbed in memory of 9/11.

For any photo sold from this gallery, the money is being donated to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
