4th Alarm Manchester NH. 251 Pearl Street 04/23/11
On Saturday Morning around 03:28am, Manchester NH Fire Dept. responded to 521 Pearl Street for a Structure fire. First due companies reported heavy fire showing from side "D" of a 2.5 story wood-frame. Companies quickly went to defensive operations due to the heavy fire conditions. The fire was in a large 2.5 story wood-frame occupied "L" shaped apartment structure. An exposure to a 2.5 story wood-frame occupied structure was also involved. All occupants of all buildings were accounted for. At the height of the fire a total of 6 master streams were in operation. Area Mutual Aid responded to assist at scene and covered the City's Stations.
The orginal fire building was 251 Pearl St which was a 12 unit apartment building and exposure was 247/249 Pearl St which was a 3 family apartment building. The Red Cross reported 30 people are left homeless due to this fire.
