W/F Brockton Ma. Box 3122 Rear 16 Battles Street 01/18/10

On Monday night January 18, 2010 around 20:50hrs. Brockton Ma. Fire Dept struck Box 3122 for the rear of 16 Battles Street for a possible building fire after receiving several calls. Car 56 reports heavy smoke showing on arrival and requested the W/F bringing Tower-1 to the fire. Fire was thru out a 20x40 1.5 story wood frame structure. Interior companies reported access problems due to the stairs from the basement and 2nd floor were burnt away. It took firefighters about an hour to bring the fire under control.
