5+ Alarms Hampton Beach NH. 275 Ocean Blvd. 02/26/10
On Friday morning February 26, 2010, Hampton Beach NH Fire Dept responded to 275 Ocean Blvd for a reported fire. The Chief of the Dept reported on his arrival the fire was in a large 3 story wood-frame hotel structure. It was fully involved with serious exposure problems and quickly ordered the 5th Alarm. This fire happened during a strong New England Northeaster that brought heavy rains and high winds to the area. It was reported that winds in this area hit over 60mph. The Chief asked for another alarm about 45 minutes into it bringing 3 more engines and 3 more ladders. Firefighters from 3 states responded, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.
