3rd Alarm Yonkers NY. 46 Caroline Ave 05-21-09

On Wednesday evening around 19:30pm Yonkers NY Fire Dept. struck 3+ Alarms for a building fire at 46 Caroline Ave. This job came in while buffing FDNY and took us over an hour to get their due to heavy traffic in the city. Fire was knocked down upon arrival-fire was in a large 4 story wood-frame omd. Fire was on the top 2 floors and attic area. Local media from the Yonkers area was reporting that a firefighter sustained a serious leg injury at this fire after being struck by a responding company. The Firefighter was transported to a local Bronx hospital. The accident happened on Broadway at Herriot Street (just blocks from the fire) and the police investigation was still on going when we got there.
